DirectX9.0 to DirectX11
I see in the Arma 3 Steamfolder DirectX9.0 how i can fix it to DirectX11?

I think A3 only uses DX11 for the lighting. Everything else is still eather 9 or 10. It's a new branded engine with old tired parts.

Can you actually run Arma 3 only in DX9 ?

yes but DirectX 11 is installed with no errors on Computer but not in the Steamfolder.

i dont know is x64 x86 trouble. steam is in x86 but computer is amd x64...?

And what command or how can you run the game only with DX9,
is it the starting paramter -winxp ? (using a 64bit windows)

In the Arma3\DirectX forlder there is only two files.
Jun2010_d3d11_43_x64
Jun2010_d3d11_43_x86
It's the same file for both 64 and 32 bit matchines. Looking at armas graphics. I bet they're only lighting.

A3 requires Dx10 minimum, won't run on Dx9 (Windows XP) alone. Won't matter whether you have a 32-bit or a 64-bit OS, although I've heard there is 'some' issues with 32-bit Windows.

arma engine is 32bit regardless of what os bit your running

yes steam is 32bit but its nothing to do with the game or its graphics engine

i have now all files delte out of DirectX 11 no problem, but not really true run... no diffrence

I have Dx11 and it wont boot up. Is it a glitch?

do dxdiag and run test
and i belive its with xp to slow what is the graficcard?

The Graphic Card is Nvidia of 1024 memory or higher with Windows 7
