What doesn't make sense though is if you run the client as Admin, it will fix the problem. But this is not the solution, as most people will not run the game as admin.
Thing is there are many good severs out there running unique missions and because they are showing constant 2500 ping nobody is joining.
But - as mentioned already, why is this cured if the client is run as admin? All of a sudden all servers will show correct ping, including my own, so even if it was the case running in LAN mode or not communicating with the server, why does this cure it.
Also reading the forums on this, the problem has existed for years with no apparent fix for the server to do.
Anyway does everyone see that server as 2500 running in non admin mode?
Have you tried DMZ? to the host IP.
