Report a translation problem
If so steam is starting or already has started a game share program, where you can lend friends your steam games.
I am not sure on the details but I believe it works something liek this
1. I loan you a game
2. As long as i do not play it you can play it
3. Once I get on you are given a warning "Buy game now or stop playing"
I am not sure if this means you can borrow it as long as you like and play only when I am not or if it means once I log into the game you can no longer play it
Also keep in mind some mp games may have issues, where your account is tied into the mp server account. I don't believe arma does this tho

One thing to add to that, Arma free does not have high res tectures either. Its still a good place to start, and if you are like me and to cheap to buy Arma 2 you can still port the items from free into Arma 3
