Hi. I bought Arma at Alpha stage for 22.99 or something. So, as an old veteran which played operation flashpoint and its expansions for years, i continue with Arma 1 and 2. From my point of view, arma series got downhill all the way after Operation Flashpoint. But that does it. All the same old stories same old stuff same old bugs from Arma 1. It is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ whole developer team not a bunch of modders. Even Battlefield series has more realistic targeting system which takes skill to use. Im not a milk cow. If they cant make anything good after 7 or more years of experience of in this specific genre they should drop making games. So i want REFUND! How do i get back my money?

Cheers Nmargie, but the only other that uses Steam is my son-in-law and he only plays Football manager 2013 or whatever its called. thank you for trying to help though. :)

The MASSIVE flood of hacking, TK'ing and all around bullcrap that showed up
with DayZ and Wasteland.... tells another story.

There are no Arma hacks. only DayZ and Wasteland hacks.

You have brought nothing but misery and crap to a once vibrant community
pretty much free of hacking, TK'ing and other azzhatery.

I agree. I remember playing before DayZ and Wasteland. While they are fun to play, they brought out the bad in people. Before, the chances of running into a script kiddie were slim. Now, you second guess every time you get killed.

Then they suddenley left and for a while Arma was a cheat freezone. Rocket what have you done? Rocket single handedly divided one of the maturist communities on earth.

Well hopefully the standalone will pull off the dayz crowd, and wasteland thankfully seems to be the only MP gamemode that suffers any real fps issues. So heres to fingers crossed that it will get better soon.

I have actually gotten horrible FPS issues with coop, TDM as well. I havent tried other MP game modes yet. I have never played DayZ so I wouldnt know how those servers are, but I did stumble into a few wasteland servers and they were equally as bad. I could not find a server that had coop missions that weren't designed badly with ping low enough so I wouldnt have connection issues to play on so far.

Yes exactly. BIS has done something new, taken a risk, Something that should be applauded not scorned. yet the fools who can't play because the models don't look authentic, or the vehicles. Perhaps there are just as many as in OFP, they want more and just as many as Arma 2. So BIS have cdecided to release the Arma 2 models to the community.

They have a point about the optimization and lack of story mode/single play. But moaning about BIS being creative should not be a platform for complaint. The combat feels better, way better than Arma 2. The game could run better and I'm sure in time it will be.

Since this guy has logged 34 hours of gameplay I doubt that he will be eligible for a refund.
