I/O device error??
I was playing Arma 3 Beta for a couple weeks just fine, then all of the sudden it kicked me out and I have not been able to launch the game since.. It gets to the "Loading Profile Options" then it freezes up and gives me this messege: "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"..

My Machine is more than adequate to run this game, and it was for 2 weeks till it kicked me out..

Does anyone have any information as to why it is doing this?

My hope is that it is still a small bug on Arma's end and will be fixed when the game is released..

There's nothing wrong with it.. Every other game or piece of software works just fine.. This HDD is only 6 months old..
Arma 3 Beta is the only game/software that gives me this error.. :(

Do a HDD disk check, i bought a blue baracuda 1tb hd and it failed in one week it can happen tthats the nature of this kind of hardware. IT may be not a failed hard drive but if you notice your system slowing down in any programme even desktop and most noticeable when transfering large files then your system will fail. If this is a hdd which isnt your os then your pretty lucky but none the less do a full system backup of all core files.

I always have seperate hdds, one for all files / programmes, 1 for recordings editing, 2 ssds for os and games.
