Helicopter control help

I have tried many times to remap my xbox controler to unbind the fire weapon and right pedal from the right trigger button on the controler. I managed to remap the whole control system and assign the left and right pedal buttons to the left and right triggers and it works fine but now i cant fire weapon. Any ideas? How do i assign weapons system to the controler?

Weapons are under the weapon controls option, not under helicopter movement.

When controlling infantry it's the old keyboard and mouse every time, but the Xbox controller (I find) I a far superior control method for vehicles.

Also, isn't telling someone to burn in hell for using a controller just a tad overboard?
