Check the YouTube video at the link, above. It is one of three that Bad Benson has put out. If BI doesn't add the climb/scale/jump (NOT bunny hop) ability, I hope this mod gets released to make up the difference. The jumping can be toned down, especially considering load, but the other functions need to be added ASAP.
It does look nice, but def needs some refinement. I agree though, the jumping qould be ok if it scaled to load. Still can't believe BI didnt incorporate scaling with all the movement/stance upgrades they made.
Not the side to side roll, but a quick combat roll in a direction to cover, but it would almost have to scale to load too.
Jump would be limited, and probably could/should include a stumble after or fatigue you like in reality. It would also be weight based. I think being able to jump a few feet off the deck forma chopper, or a small ledge/ridge would be a nice feature.
Why would you want to jump off a chopper or a ridge? How would that be any better than just dropping off it like you already can do now?
Jumping out of a chopper a few feet off the deck or have an option to lower yourself down off a roof or ridge instead of jumping and taking damage. The real problem I think is that you take damage from a 2 foot drop, and there is no mechanic in place to let you jump even a few feet down without taking damage, which even with a few hundred pounds is a little ridiculous. That and fast roping should've been standard for 3.
Pretty sure people in the military do this all the time. Adrenaline mixed with actual physical training tends to give good results in the wall scaling department. Just because you couldn't do it with your airsoft crew doesn't mean people don't do it in real life.
