Stuck in Constant freelook in helis, please help.

when flying a chopper I cannot control it using my mouse but only freelook the choppers hud moves with my freelook please help. I have tried messing with my controls.

Configure>Game>Vehicle Freelook
Set that to disable and stop messing around with controls if you don't know what they do :P

It worked but I wasnt messing with my controls I came back after an update and they were all derped out.

In options, whether my vehicle auto-freelook is set to on or off, it's actually on. I can't fly helicopters anymore because of this...

have same error as wookiee. Toggling vehicle freelook does nothing and double-tap alt does nothing. 3k hours of arma and never had this happen

having the same issue myself. i notice this happens in multiplayer more than single player modes. in single player it works fine. but when playing KotH it my freelook is disabled 1 times out of 10 no matter what my options are

I've had the same issue. It happened today after i'd been holding alt for a while. Double tapping alt doesn't help, Configure>Game>Vehicle Freeload is disabled.

Flying with the mouse is very limited and restrictive, With the keyboard you can be way more aggressive with helis and still be able to look around for the enemy at the same time.

same goes for all vehicles!

For all those that randomly get stuck with freelook in helicopters when playing multiplayer, try getting out from the pilot seat, jump in the rear/passenger seat, get out and then back to pilot seat.

Only been able to try this twice but it has so far had a 100% rate of success.

Im also pretty sure this bug comes from sitting in a passanger seat and die/vehicle explodes -> game has you stuck in "passanger freelook mode" when you get back in, until you enter and exit a passanger seat so it turns it off.

Woah, that makes sense. If this happens to me again I'll have to try this
