Giving orders

How do I order my men to go somewhere on the map , somewhere I cant see in game ?

How do I get them to drive a vehicle to a destination ?

Can I free look from the drivers seat I am stuck looking straight ahead ?

If Im in the drivers seat will one of my crew jump into the gunners seat automatically and attack enemy units within range ?

Its like the sitcom dads army trying to get my men to do things of any use , is there anything online that covers in detail how to control my men .

1) select teammates (F1,F2 etc) -> open map (M) -> middle mouse button and select the appropriate option from the scroll down menu
2) select them, middle mouse looking at the vehicle -> select the enter vehicle or something similar. at this point select the driver (or the full team) and to step 1
3) holding ALT triggers free look (also outside of the vehicle
4) they won't do it automatically if they are not already sitting there. in such case, select a soldier already in the vehicle, press 4, scroll and select something like enter vehicle, gunner
5) there should be something online but I learned by experimenting

other useful things when commanding AI is grouping them into teams -> select the desired units (F1,F2 etc) -> press 9 and choose a color (red green blue etc). at this point you can select the full team by pressing shift+F1 or F2 etc (for red, green etc members)

Ohhhhhhh... you command the DRIVER, not the VEHICLE... Note that you can't assign a driver if there already is one.

You can also enter into "Zeus mode", which lets you create and edit any units, by pressing Y. You can also order any unit or vehicle from here, including on the map (M) while in Zeus mode.
