BF3 helicopter controls

After some tweaking, I got my helicopter ALMOST BF3 perfected. Here's what I did:
*delete the presets
Cyclic Forward ------------------------ mouse up
Cyclic Backward-----------------------mouse down
Cyclic Left--------------------------------mouse left
Cyclic Right-----------------------------mouse right
Collective Rise--------------------------W
Collective Lower------------------------S
Left Pedal---------------------------------A
Right Pedal-------------------------------D

I left "left turn" and "right turn" empty because it just seems to bank my helicopter, which Cyclic Left and Right already does, so when you have them keybound, your chopper banks way too much.

The only problem I have with this set up is at first the Left and Right pedals work great, but after a little while, my chopper starts turning to the right on it's own and only sometimes I can get ti to turn the other way... not sure why it does this but I'm hoping this is an Alpha glitch that will soon be addressed.

Let me know if you guys have any tweaks to fix this

Good effort! Dont know why I never thought to do this earlier but I have now and its awesome! Having to teach myself to fly again tho, keep pressing the old keys :S

Glad you like it! Do you get the same problem with the chopper wanting to turn on it's own?

I think the keybinds are for binding keys... which I have shown in my very first post. This thread is designed to help those who are familiar with the BF3 controls and would like them to be the same (or as similar as they can be)

Hi. I am getting some issues.

I can't fire from the Heli properly because when I move my mouse, player looks around instead keeping the "crosshair" forward.

In "View", if I turn off "Aims", then it works.

No problems with gamepad.

Turn off 'vehicle freelook', somewhere in the options.
