Switching fire modes default key?

Yesterday i thought it was on F but today i see F is "next weapon". what is the default key for sitching fire modes and how is this action called in the options?

So there's no button for just switching the firing mode on a gun without scrolling through the melee option and the explosives options before it gets back to your gun?! It's ridiculous, until that Vietnam DLC, this didn't used to happen!

If your rifle is on 1, press 1 again to change its firemode.

Um, what do you mean "rifle is on 1", this isn't some COD/Halo/Doom shooter where you have like 10 guns on each number. Pressing 1 brings up one of the orders menus.

Ever since the Apex DLC, the default keybindings have been shifted to a more traditional layout.

If you have an old profile, you change weapons with the scroll wheel. If you have a new one, you can use the number keys to switch weapons and fire modes.

Pressing 1 brings up one of the orders menus.

Only if you have selected other units.
If nothing is selected, pressing 1 selects rifles.
2 selects handguns/sidearms.
3 selects launchers like AT tubes.

And if you press the same weapon key multiple times, you switch firemodes.

Finally got the answer which is that the SwitchPrimary "Switch to Primary Weapon" key is the key to use for only changing the firing mode.

1, 2, 3, to switch between weapons, attached weapons like a GL press 'F' a few times and it will switch through the fire modes first then to the attached weapon.
