Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

Display driver intel graphics accelerator drivers for windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Other information: Windows 8 is probably the best piece of ♥♥♥♥ i've bought so far!
Anybody know how to fix?

Yes i do have enough RAM and Yes i do have my information if you wish to help.

The problem is not really Windows 8.

A laptop for gaming is not that good !

Also,

I'm not a jerk, so I searched a bit :

1) Add -nobenchmark to launch options
2) launch in windowed mode
3) just leave the window alone, go and do something else for a few mins
4) come back and it should of loaded
5)You can change it to fullscreen when ingame with no problems (but always launch in Windowed)
6) enjoy

Sadly that method does not work, and also i do have a desktop. i left it on yesterday for about an hour and it did not work. Thanks for the reply, if there is any way you can help or anybody text.

Thought graphics accelerator was only for integrated graphic card ! My bad about that.

In most case, when display drivers are crashing it's because of overheating if it can help !

For anybody who reads this topic from now on (solution here):

If you are running on the Intel HD graphics chipset, first of all realise you wont have a good time. I'm running the game on an i3-2310M 2.10GHz CPU / 6gb DDR3 / Intel HD 3000 and i'll adverage 20 fps. HD 4000 owners might hit 25 adverage with similar specifications, but 2000 and equivilent owners should not attempt to run the game.

Secondly, I have the same issue with the display drivers failing in ArmA 3 with the HD 3000 - it's an issue with Intel's drivers but luckilly there is a very easy way to fix! When launching, just select Windowed mode for the game. It worked for me, and I can assume it will work for most Intel chipset owners. Run the game in windowed mode until you have joined a server and are in the game, then you can press ESC then ALT+Enter to full screen the game and it will run just fine. If you want to change server just ALT+Enter to window the game again until you are in a match.

When I do this, the game is red and blue w/ dots and it's hard to see and it lags very badly, is there anything to fix this?

What graphics card do you have? Try my solution of starting the game in windowed mode
