ARMA 3 is officially dying

Pretty much started this post just to trigger some people, preferably the seemingly uninterested staff of the developer, but since they only actively monitor DAYZ discussions for damage control of that ♥♥♥♥ project maybe I should just post this there. How are we just letting basically all the official servers get constantly hacked and causing basically a nuke and crashing the game. WITAF. JUST CLOSE THEM DOWN BOHE, YOU DONT WAT TO DO ANYTHING JUST RETIRE IT, LATER, CLOSE UP SHOP.

Seems odd that all this "we are actively banning IPs from our dayz servers" "top priority" blah blah im not buying it, ♥♥♥♥ or get off the toilet. You already have modders building your expansions for you, you cant find the time to monitor official servers, review the logs, are you familiar with a basic Cpanel? no dont worry about it your simping ass community will buy servers and host them for you just keep wasting energy with your servers running with no one in them. we will take care of you for you.

Arma 3 has been pretty much officially dead for a year or two already.
Sure, it might have a hefty amount of people playing it, but that's in SP.

In MP there are only a handful of servers and just a few gamemodes that are still considered active. So it's not dying, it's dead. Now can you still find people to play with? Sure, but it'll be the same faces day in and day out.

Contrary to what you might believe, Arma is not an online only game and was never meant to be. The point of the series has always been the mission editor. Hell, I'm replaying through both the original OFP campaigns in OFP, and the CW IIII updates of it A3 simultaneously right now.

Lets not forget the thousands of players who play online in private communities who's servers are only active when in use.

It's been a stable avg of player counts for the last 6 years according to Steam Charts.

I only feel pity for the people who bought community DLCs for MP, but whose MP is a ghost town.

Basegame can be played SP until the heat death of the universe, at a solid 47 FPS, too.

MilSim players play Co-op and PVP, sometimes some good streams on Twitch.

Arma 2 MilSim videos is what got me into Arma to start with, watching 30vs30 CTI/Warfare. That reminds me i wonder if Devil Dog Gamer is still active🤔

Some of this stuff didn't cross over to A3 quite the same sadly.

I'm genuinely confused at this statement, Who exactly believes or may believe that its an online only game? Bro You cant just stumble into the party thread $h1t faced and start rambling on about some nonsense from a different thread, well I guess you can cause you just did. It made me smile at least. Im just picturing that friend that comes over when the party is wrapping up, totally trashed kinda wondering how he even got there, just spouting off stuff about some person that was at the bar they came from like everyone knows who hes talking about.
