Arma Reforger = Arma 4?

Hi,

My question is simple : is Arma Reforger is Arma 4?
I don't like Arma Reforger.
I prefer to stay on Arma 3.

Reforger is the basis for their new engine. It is what they are building Arma 4 to be on.

I just tried Reforger and it's more like Day Z than Arma 3. If they used Arma 3's UI it'd be so much better.

Devs stated in a livestream at Reforgers launch, that Reforger is essentially a testbed for the new engine that Arma 4 will be using, and once Arma 4 becomes a reality, Reforger will no longer be supported. Basically Reforger is Arma 4 Alpha/Beta.

There is no estimate from BI when Arma 4 will be released, but just guessing, 2-3 years from now.

If I recall right, they'll have some semblance of Arma 4 in either late 2024 or early 2025. But they never did confirm a release date.

BI has never publicly stated any timeline for Arma 4. You are referencing something "the leaker" posted. With all the delays in the development of reforger, I would not assume the leakers estimate of 2024-2025 is accurate anymore.

"ESTIMATED", doesn't mean the same as "Precise Release Date"...ffs you are dense. And YouTube wasn't the only place they streamed, they did Stream on Twitch. And most people watched it on there. Where they mentioned an ESTIMATED time. Not a CONFIRMED...ESTIMATED...
