How to play Altis life mod?

Well I just got Arma 3 and I heard that this was a good mod or mode? Also I have seen Frankieonpcin1080p play it aswell as Jackfrags. But I don't have a clue about how to get it.

Does anyone know? Also anyone know of the recommended graphics setting for Arma 3 for a gtx 770?

The biggest challenge at the moment is to find an altis life server that isn't french.
Once you find a non-french server (not guaranteed), just join up, and you'll be playing it properly farely quickly, just ask people in side chat what to do.

Altis life is a map. Find a server with the map/mission and join

Just go to multiplayer and set a filter to role playing then you shall have list of Altis Life servers

Ok thanks guys thats a relief. Well I shall have fun trolling and maybe become a rebel or Im thinking about starting a mercenary group if there isn't one.

Me and a couple of my friends are probably start hosting our own Altis Life server. We had a DayZ Epoch server earlier and it was a success! It would be awsome to have some players from Steam community :)

If you have a gtx you should have the GeForce Experience and it can determine the best set up for your individual pc.

If you have a super-duper 4GHz CPU and 8GB RAM you should be able to run Arma 3 on close to, or even flat out, max settings with a 770.

CPU and RAM seem to be more important from observing my own system and from what I read from others.

I have a GTX780SC and switching from low to max settings has almost no impact on frame rate. Just three days ago I upgraded from 6GB to 12GB of RAM and saw decent frame rate improvements. I've heard other people say that different CPU clocks have a significant impact on performance also.

It's possible to squeeze out a few more frames by following some the the tweaking guides on this and the BiS forums. There's also some other third party guides floating around also. Trust me, if you search for Arma 3 performance issues there will be quite a few pages posted in the search results.

One final factor can be the servers you visit. A low performing, highly populated server can kill client side performance, so try out different servers before to go too mad with changing your own system configuration.
