How to change squad unit numbers?

I'm playing DUWS addon, I have got 9 man in my squad, you know when you press F2 you will select number 2 ai in your squad, well, I would like to switch number 4 ai in my squad to number 9, and make number 9 to be number 4, how would I do that., please help if you know.

Well, idk if u play duws addon, but I like a challenge in the game, so I set the ememy opfor army power to 110, which means each zone is hard to take down, enemy will always try to reinforce their troops, I recruited 9 special operatives, 2 of em are snipers, which I would like to put them in slot F9 and F10 for eazy access in combat, right now these two snipers are in slot F2 and F3, which makes a hard for me to choose my firing team which are two machinegunner in slot F9 and F10 now, because I will use em quiet often, its hard in a combat situation to move my finger across the keyboard to F9 and F10,while the sniper team, I normally would put em on a mountain to cover my squad and never move them in one battle.(ps cuz we all use w.a.s.d for movement, and F2,F3,F4 is just above these keys, eazy to move fingers up rather across the keyboard, lol)

I compensate this issue buy pruchasing a firing squad and use F12 key to scroll to the nxt infantry menu, but still I gotta scroll in battle, and now I have about 15 man in my squad, its hard manage too.

There isn't any way to do that as far as I know. The numbers are assigned in the order they are added to your group.

The best thing you can do is assign them to teams. Its under menu 9. Order your snipers onto Team Red and then you can use SHIFT+F1 to select them both. F2, F3, F4, and F5 work the same way with their respective team color. It's the same order as they are listed under menu 9.

Yeah it's a lot easier than selecting guys individually when you have them doing different things. Also makes things easier when you have more than a few guys under your command.

yeah, im nearly giving it up now cuz of a fatal bug, enemy ai units wont attack, so much bs

Try out Patrol Ops 3, or A Whole Lotta Altis, or ALiVE, or MCC's new Mission Wizard function.

DUWS isn't the only dynamic mission for Arma 3.
