Could use some help with Antistasi Ultimate
Hey.

Yesterday I started playing Antistasi Ultimate in singleplayer, hosted as LAN server.

Whenever I save the game as "Persistent save", or if it autosaves, my AI teammates, my AI squads that I transfer to high command, my loot crate, my medical tent, fuel station and basically anything that I place down disappears. Such a bummer, since it kinda defeats the whole purpose of saving up resources and expanding my HQ, my "army".

Is there anything I could do about it? Is there a way to save everything as it is, or at least static objects I place down, crates, stations and such?

Thanks.

antistasi is a ♥♥♥♥ mod in general, good on paper but a horribly poor execution really.

Any issues you come across are bound to happen eventually and ruin your session my advice is to simply not play it.

Damn, such a shame. As you said, on paper it seems like a perfect mod to play in singleplayer, gathering resources, building an army, etc, since I'm just a couple of hours in, I haven't encountered anything that would ruin the game for me yet, except for this damn saving feature. If only it would save my squads, static objects and such, it would be totally fine, for now at least.

Yea I got about 3 hours in with my friend and we started running into issues like crashing, saves not working, massive stutters, frame drops.

And on top of that antistasi is incompatible with literally any mod out there pretty much so your stuck with low effort ♥♥♥♥♥♥ factions and gear, there is the ultimate version but that's even worse than the base antistasi.

Then theres antistasi plus+ which I had the least amount of issues with, but it's not designed for singleplayer as it's much harder than the other antistasi versions.

Well ♥♥♥♥ then. The only gamemode that I actually like, from bunch of others I have tried and it has to be like this.
Well thanks for your comments, I guess I will spend some more time on it until I get bored and put ArmA back on the shelve.

Have you tried OPCOM?, it's got a liberation mode built into it, it's a barebones anti stasi but at least it's stable and you can use pretty much any faction mod with it.

I haven't, but I will now. Thank you. I have been away from ArmA for I would say at least more than a year, all I remember is some Antistasis-like mods that I tried and pretty much none of them worked, those that did, were boring as hell.

Unfortunately, Antistasi Ultimate is more deigned for persistent dedicated servers. Not the Singleplayer experience.
As for saving in SP, asking the general Arma 3 Community is probably not going to help all that much. Try asking the "Scenario" devs themselves. They tend to know their own mod better than anyone else on here.

Thanks, I joined their Discord and asked for assistance there, will see how it goes.

Don't listen to them, they don't understand the basic game mechanics. In AU you can just put most things you bought back(resell) to HQ inventory. For example, the repair station can be put back/resell back to inventory at full price no matter how many vehicles you repaired. Fuel barrels can also be resell back to HQ, though if you refueled some vehicles then the price will be lower (example: refuel a pickup will cost 100-200, meaning you can get about 1800-1900 for resell, it costs 2000). The ammo boxes should do the same, but I find I can resell it back at full price not sure if intentional.

You can capture enemy/civii utility vehicles (repair/refuel/rearm, rearm vehicles can only be captured from enemy), put them in the HQ garage then you get a "resource" for repairing/refuel/rearm, totally free! That's what the main propose of "Logistic mission" and "Convoy ambush mission" for, though in most cases this kind of missions are quite difficult but that's the fun part.

Just put back things in HQ inventory before the shut down/restart, not include static weapons since they are permanent when in HQ area or base area. The AI teammates will be automatically disbanded and $ will be returned to your fund, or you can choose to garrison them to bases and towns like you already found out.

I play AU for both SP and MP alot, ask whatever you want I'll try my best to answer. Just remember there's a lot of people like to talk things they don't understand, and read AU wiki before you ask.

That will certainly make it easier. How do I sell static objects like crates, tents, pumps and whatnot? Do I use "Y" Commander menu for that? I have figured out how to sell vehicles, but haven't really stumbled upon a button that would say anything about selling items such as those? And what about storing these things? I didn't really paid attention to that, but I believe in-game when you pack a medical tent for example, or move lootcrate, there is no way to put it into the inventory?

Also captured Rearm vehicle (and supply boxes and loot boxes) from missions will have ♥♥♥♥ ton of equipment onboard, you can sell things you don't want to the arms dealer, so keep an eye on your inventory, make sure you sell anything you don't want to keep. If you get something added into your armory permanently(depend on your server parameter settings) the arms dealer will no longer buy them. And something just can't sell to dealer that's coded nothing can be done until you know how to edit mod files. Actually if you manage trading well, you can easily get over 10k(sometimes 20-30k) from selling loots in one run.

Aim the thing you want to put back/resell the press Y, choose PUT BACK button. Same as you put vehicles back to garage, only in this case it functions like resell.

I'm in the early beginning, haven't captured any of ammo trucks, fuel trucks, or anything like that, I just send destroy them with IEDs, rocket launchers. But I will keep this in mind until I get to the point where I can capture them instead.
Shenji Jan 16, 2024 @ 7:06am
I don't really understand what medic tent is for, and you can capture civii ambulance, functions the same and won't be deleted if left inside HQ area.

Well there's an exploit for capture enemy vehicles in SP, ask for missions then assault the base/outpost where the vehicle spawned, capture the supply box and vehicles then left, don't capture the base. After restart you can do this to the base again without raising aggression.
