Arma 3

Do not leave CE on when playing this game!!!
Hello, I was playing ARMA 3 and got a gamehack 38 ban for having Cheat Engine running in the background. I hack flashgames often and have a beefy computer so I can leave multiple programs open. But apparently you get banned if you have CE open while playing. Besides the fact that you can't even hack ARMA 3 with Cheat Engine anyway this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen or heard. It's the same thing as telling someone what they can and cannot have on their computer. I sent an email to battleye support so hopefully I will get unbanned. Just a warning hope many read it and learn.

Actually Cheat Engine is a memory editor.. with ALL memory editors you can hack local content and thus CAN hack arma. it can also inject files into applications. which is probably the reason it lead to your ban even without attaching into arma, if battleye detected it chances are you're not getting unbanned.
Hello there

AFAIK, and I *may* be out of date on this, but BE will not fully ban you for having CE *just* open.

It will BE ban you if you are trying to do something naughty though.

You should`t cheat no matter what game its for, BE scans what programs your using & they have a list of hacks they are looking for, yes you have the right to install any program on your machine, but you dont have the right to join a communty network with them running. Shame on you.

I did not get fully banned because it was not attached to anything. I can play on other servers. Does this mean I can get unbanned?
Hello there

If you were just kicked or banned from a particular server, then yes you can continue to play except on said server.

If you have been BE banned you will be unable to play on any BE protected server, which is the majority.

This may also apply to other BIS games in your library.

Its just not worth anyone cheating as it can quickly become very expensive.

To become unbanned on that particular server you will have to contact their admins.

BE just kicks you, it's the server admin or admin software he runs which bans you

I'm confused, because I was admin banned from only one server. But I can play on lot's of other servers however I tried playing Breaking Point for the first time. And it says I am banned because of gamehack 38. I don't understand.

You are free to use Google on the term: "gamehack 38".

From now on you can play ArmA3 with the cheat-engine running.
You are going to play with other players, who are also running the cheatengine.

You don't have to care about BattlEye anymore, like we don't have to take care longer about you. There is no reason for you to be confused. Good bye.

you are the reason people who do not hack this game will hack this game. you are not the aether between two sides but the cancer. And it seems like you do not speak english? I guess you are from a foreign country since I asked a legitimate question and you just tossed an insult at me? Please refrain from posting in my thread any further.

If you use cheat engine for your own perfectly legit purposes, which nobody minds, eg for research or tinkering with single player games where you aren't doing any harm to anyone else at all, as you do, then you can't have it running on your primary gaming machine without risking a ban. But it isn't BattelEye's fault that you forgot to turn it off before playing Arma3.

I’m not exactly sympathetic, but I do have a big heart. I have to, to be able to pump all the blood required to operate my massive penis.

Any help?

Uh, so people that are against cheating are the reason why people use cheats??? I'm sorry but your logic is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ret@rded

People use cheats because they're a-holes, not because they disagree with someone lol

Please Read about Battleye...The Engine

The BattlEye system consists of the BE Client and the BE Server that communicate with each other through the game's netcode. In addition, there is the BE Master which is queried for new core software and cheat detection updates. The BE Client (as well as the BE Server) runs within the game, allowing best possible detection of cheats.
BattlEye scans the game and the system in RAM and on HDD, mainly using generic methods that globally catch all cheats/hacks of one type (including private ones as far as possible).
In order to work, BattlEye requires absolutely no user input or server-side administration - it comes as is and does its job independently. This also applies on the effective auto-update system which works reliably flawlessly and thus ensures that each player is always up-to-date.
Furthermore BattlEye has no special system requirements: Being very user-friendly, BE needs only little resources regarding CPU, RAM and network bandwidth. The player simply will not notice that BattlEye is running in the background.

and you got caught using a GameTrainer. You are the ones that gives Online Gaming a bad name. We do not feel sorry for your problems and Battleye Does not also. That's what it's made for.
