ccg epoch mod

hi all, very new to this game tho I am a regular on standalone, I did have the epoch mod but deleted it, i have now d/l the ccg launcher and in process of d/l the lastest mod. whats the difference ?? and is it the best to get ?

get it from the workshop easier that way

there is no overpoch in workshop, and op said he wants to play at ccg servers.
whats difference between what? dayz standalone and arma 3 epoch/overpoch? every difference, epoch for arma 3 is not dayz related, there are no zombies, it is much more pvp oriented. there are traders and missions. there is building system integrated. also some other ghoulish creatures, but they are rare.
my suggestion is to use both ccg launcher and a3launcher, both made by maca, man behind ccg, overpoch and lots of other nice arma3 stuff.
have you ever played overpoch for arma2 at least? if not, if you only played dayz standalone be prepared for totally different experience. in a good way of course.

No i havent, i have been on dayz standalone only, I have only just got Arma 2 with all DLC and Arma 3 due to the discount weekend so its all new to me. Thanks for the advice and from what I have tried so far in Arma 3 it looks very good. I am just trying to get everything set up. I have been on afew servers but most never worked due to missing files etc hense the ccg d/l. I will look at the a3launcher as well.

to really be able to play without problems on overpoch ccg servers, you need one of those launchers. i use both.

np man, join ccg forums if you have any questions, problems, suggestions. there is always someone on teamspeak who will help.

also you can watch some videos of GibsAndPieces on youtube to get basic stuff for arma3 overpoch, he did little very informative series about basic stuff for ccg overpoch, hes part of that team too.

Well i left it to do its job over night, still no cigar on the mod ?? just 3 russain random friend requests all blocked. no sign of the mod anywhere ????????
