ASP 1 KIR - Which Scope?
Which scope works best with the ASP 1?

any scope wont work on it , even holo scope, you will have problem with zeroing if you put any (ANY!)scope on it , piece of ♥♥♥♥ weapon it is , i dont even know why they release it

Don't even touch this weapon is useless at ranges 500 meters plus.

Piece of cake... only DMS is usable for that weapon... But if you are able to use it, its one of the best weapon in CQC and ranges up to 300m. You can take kills and they do not even know from were they came. Why DMS?!? Its the only scope that has the possebility to be zeroed to 100m with the main optic. And the arrows in the scope are realy easy to use.
Furthernmore this weapon is a oneshoot killer. Equal where you hit, its 90% a kill. (10% if you hit the weapon of a player)

So try it to use it in a sneaky way of playing..... that means all for all targets over 300m get clocer ;-P

Best thing about the Kir..... no bulletcrack*

Its a specialist weapon.

Motte above got the right idea.
Its a stealth weapon for short range targets only so use a short range scope or a scope capable of short range zeroing.

Also got to mention the high bullet damage. Though im sure the special carrier rig can take a bullet but I havent tested.

Dslyecxi brings up a good point, the subsonic heavy grain round means it has a high arc and drop. I prefer the ACO or Holographic sight on it, it makes an excellent urban stealth weapon.

I bring new light: After testing some MRDs I found that the best choise (when DMS, Nightstalker is not available) is the iron sight, if u use a 200mZ ACO u will find a bit tricky to hit a 300m target, same with the smg ACO for a 200m shot, while the ironsight is accurate. Yeah I know, an MRD or a Scope gives gun sexier look, you decide.

ASP-1 KIR is based on this RL weapon: VKS sniper rifle[en.wikipedia.org]. It's not and never was intended to be a long range sniper rifle in the traditional sense. Used correctly -- see f.e. Sentry Remover: Using the ASP-1 Kir -- it does exactly what it should.

Rather than thinking of this as a sniper rifle, think of it as a suppressed shotgun firing a slug round.

Its the best weapon of the game when you know how to use it i play KOTH with a dms i can shoot all distance you just need to adjust the meters and know the distance where you shoot at.

This gun is just buged i tested it very long at Virutal Arsenal and only few scope have good Aim with it.

Is not "close range gun" or who ever say what ever ... DMS with zeoring with good zeoring can take every target (but zeoring need to be exacly the same where the target is) but when other scopes come at the zeoring is good its still miss. For example RCO cant hit target at 300/400/500/600 meters with good zeoring ... the same with ARCO/MRCO and a lot of sniper scopes.

I love this gun at KOTH becouse of the silencer in the gun so you dont need take a perk and low recoil but the very ♥♥♥♥♥ mechanizm with scopes is making me mad and now i chose Cyrus.

If you really want go into that gun then go for DMS and always remember about good zeoring and RCO(close range scope)/ACO for Night games. You can change your gamma and try DMS at night but its kinda bad to be honest.

Anyway I wait till they fix this weapon becouse I DONT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BELIVE this gun should work like that ... be good with some scopes at tottaly trash with others.

For now Cyrus with DMS and SILENCER is one of best choice for only Infantry (Silencer Perk/Ammo Perk/ Marksmen Perk) and MX SW + RPG for normal KOTH games with vehicles (Launcher Perk/ Silencer Perk/ Machinguner Perk).

If ASP-1 was good i will use it at both KOTH games with RPG. Marksman is very good with RPG cause of Rangefinder.

Why are you trying to use the KIR out to 600m? That's a terrible idea.
