SP campaign is excruciatingly boring
about 10 times now i load this thing up and try to get into it but its just awful...the voice acting and plot are some of the worst of any recent games ive played....i feel the urge to cap the very people im supposed to be working with every time they open their mouths

Try your hand at the editor, and make up your own campaign of small or large missions.

I'll agree that the campaign is abit...slow, but for me it was okay.
I'am waiting until Marksmen is fully released so I can do it over again, because it will be like a whole different game with the new features making Inf combat easier

Arma isn't exactly known for its SP... haha this does not surprise me.

BS, the vanilla campaign isnt really known to be GREAT, its normally year or 2 down track start to get really really good SP scenarios, hell just load up ALiVE got an entire island (any island or mod) alive with combat, ppl that say SP is none existance clearly have not understood the best bit of arma, the mission editor.

i thought that Operation Flashpoint had a pretty good single player campaign

ARMA 2's SP campaign was pretty good. I liked the 4 man squad setup. It even had branching paths depending on what went on.

Sounds like a personal problem... but I'm not qualified to help you with that.

Either play it or don't.

While not the best, i find the voice acting in A3 to be decent and miles ahead of the earlier games.

The SP campaign though is too much hollywood for a game of a sim nature. I have enjoyed it enough to play it through though, and currently doing it all again so I still think its acceptable.
But as people said, there are countless of community made scenarios thanks to the amazing editor and theres also the multiplayer.

All in all, Arma3 is amazing value for the money, much MUCH more so then most other games released the past years and im really looking forward to the expansion hopefully arriving this year.
