Whats up with the player count?

How come the steam charts say 10 000 + people are playing but when i look for servers i find like 5 with a playercount above 50 and almost every single EU server is at 0? am i missing something here?

People are playing singleplayer or private servers with friends

this game is content rich with a group of friends, that's where most people are.

Most players play on private servers with a ton of mods. To play arma the way most players do you basically need to find a community to play with.

The DLCs have servers that you can't see unless you're loaded into that DLC. Ex when playing the SOG PF dlc you cant see any other servers outside of that mode.

If you're playing baseline arma you probably arent seeing anything outside of that.

you can see all official servers in the official servers tab regardless of dlc ownership
