Arma 3
Chat GPT for Scripting...
Hey guys! Probably not the first one to discover that AI can make damn good scripts. I've been really surprised by the accuracy of using Chat GPT. I put in a story of what I want in detail and BOOM some pretty good scripts are put out. Its honestly helped me learn scripting so much faster too. For the record I'm a NOOB for scripting but I have been tinkering around with it today and it has speed up my mission building like crazy. Just wanted to share my experience and maybe it can help others to read and understand scripting a little better!

It's good if you know what you're doing. The fun really begins when it spits out functions that don't exist or invalid syntax. With the debugging tools arma has... Thank god for the community tho.
My compilation list can also help with scripting and tools:

Seeing how many times a friend of mine asked me for help when his script from chatgpt didnt work....I would be inclined to disagree

As long as you're also learning. Otherwise you will run into problems where the scripts have to be tweaked, but you have no idea how to fix the issues.

AI should be used as a tool to decrease workload or easier put your imagination on paper (in code), not as a substitute. As of now anyway. In the future I'm sure AI will be a viable way to do everything and anything. But currently it occasionally makes mistakes and you need a human mind to fix those mistakes when they occur.

TLDR
Nothing wrong with relying on AI for your scripts. But it becomes worthless if you're just pumping your mission full of non-working scripts, thus you need to also be able to fix them should the need arise.
