Arma 3
Will Bohemia ever fix Server Hosting?
Connecting, Connected, Disconnected (Modified data file somewhere in there).

Sometimes people join fine, sometimes they can't join at all, sometimes the server disappears entirely...

No problems with our server - every player is able to join fine if he has the correct mods.

Server hosting works fine I've been hosting since Arma Combat Operations without issues both at home and in data centers.

Mods are the cause for disconnects on connect. Verify your mod set is 1:1 with mods loaded on server. DO NOT LOAD OTHER MODS. Loading other "optional" mods they MUST be client side (e.g. sound, texture) and the key MUST be installed in server key folder but the mod MUST NOT be loaded on server -mod

If server config is using "equalModRequired = 1;" (outdated) you must use the EXACT 1:1 mod order on both client and server along side having exact 1:1 mod set. (e.g. client "@mod1;@mod2" server "@mod2;@mod1" will evict you, although i'm not familiar with any associated message as I've never used this)

If a mod is UNSIGNED (e.g. no bikey and no *.pbo.bisign provided) you must set "verifySignatures = 0;" or you will fail mod key validation and be disconnected. This usually indicated with "*.pbo is not signed by a key on this server"

If your server is not appearing on the list its because you cannot connect to steam or steam cannot connect to you to be listed, a variety of networking/firewall issues can cause this.
You're doing something wrong bud

I never had issues with server hosting either its on your end or you need to contact who ever you renting a server from...

as others have said - mods issue. double check your/your clients modlist and try again. dont load other mods, even if supposedly clientside

I've put 44 mods into a modlist nobody is using any additional clientside mods then hosted the game (My PC/Same Scenario not a Dedicated Server) in which Steam says all mods are up to date where everyone joins fine but with no changes turns into what I've described initially in the following days. Trying to join after the 1st day results in my friends needing to pretty much spam join for a chance to get in (Which works for some reason?).

Even moreso we check the most recent updated workshop items to see if any mods need to be "repaired" in case we need to manually update a mod or something like that so all the 44 mods in the same exact modlist are updated at all times.
Using 44 mods...blames BI for the "problem".
With all clientside mods we have about 39 at the moment? No problem at all. But yeah I see your point - Bohemia does not provide support for modded games. And of course not every mod works perfectly - sometimes even the combination of a few mods is the problem. But as you said its not a problem caused by BI.
imagine beeing to bold to click on host lmao

how could bohemia fix mods from 3.parties huh ?
and for what reasons bohemia should effort in it to fix broken mods by some individuals . thats beyond stupid

if you are modding you mercedes and it went broke. who you blame for it ? mercedes ?
You read my posting wrong - BI is not responsible for any mod issues.
