Fraps and Taskforce radio Push to talk... how???

We use tak force radio for our GU, and recently decided to all have push to talk.

So I set push to talk key, in TS and unless i set the same key in fraps it records me hotmiking.


I want to be able to record local chatter AND task force radio cahtter when i talk, any ideas how to do this>?

If i use the press to talk button, fraps wont record task force radio as it has to be set to another key.

And i cant hotmik as it is noisey and always add hiss to videos..

So, may I suggest no longer using FRAPS? It makes absolutely massive files, and it's just simply not needed. I'm not sure how to accomplish exactly what you're wanting in FRAPS - but I can tell you that if you use OBS, it integrates directly with steaming to youtube/twitch/where-ever as well as allows you to simply record video directly to your harddrive. It doesn't hit your PC as hard performance wise as FRAPS, and makes much smaller file sizes by default.

The reason I Swiched to OBS from DxTory was due to the simplicity and streaming functionality. I also learned that you can set up multiple push to talk keys, so you can set a PTT for TS and a PTT for TFAR (capslock), and capture all mic audio anytime either key is pushed.
