Arma 3
VR?
Hey! i found out that this game can use VR through TrackIR and that you can use your VR Headset as a TrackIR source but I havent heard much except its possible and I have seen videos of it but everything i have heard is extremely vague. does anyone know how to do this? Help would be really appreciated!

Yes, there's a way, it's only 2D but still pretty good:

1- Launch Virtual Desktop (or any app that lets you see your desktop in VR)
2- Launch OpenTrack, and set your VR headset as the source
3- Launch Arma3

Arma will use the input from OpenTrack as the source for TrackIR movement. The game is still 2D, but you get to see it on a giant screen in front of you with full head tracking. Pretty good when flying.

You can use trackir. Not vr. Just buy and use trackir hardware.
VR and this game currently isn't really workable/usable and common ways to pseudo VR are incompatible with Battleye.

I too would adore it but there's (afaik) no decent way to fudge it that gives decent results.

Track ir and multiple monitors is a close second though, even if not as immersive.

VorpX works decent at doing so, but even then everything still feels a bit off when it comes to games that don't have native VR support. At least it feels off to me, still does a good job at replicating a VR experience with what we are given. VorpX is also payware so not exactly the best option if you don't want to spend money

plus, doesn't (or didnt) play nice with battleye.

Ah, did not realize. I disliked it for ARMA 3 after like an hour so didn't even take it into MP.
