scope modes

how to change the scope mode of the sniper scopes. For example the SOS, how to use the 85x magnification?? I cant find it in the Arma settings and even not in the internet.

Have you tried holding the ctrl key and then right clicking? It should swap between magnifications on witrh different settings.

sry im german where is the ctrl key? is it the strg button on the lower rightß

ctrl stands for "control",
which is "steuerung" in german.the acronym is "strg".
Pro Tip: You have "strg" button on the lower right and lower left ;)

hold ctrl/strg (left bottom button) and click right click on mouse. that changes between short range and long range scope, if scope in question has both, some dont. then if it is long range scope (like sos for example), you go to long range scope mode like i explained earlier, + and - (on the right side of keyboard, numpad part to be more exact) are for changing distance aka zoom. depending on distance of the target you can change your rifle range with page up and page down buttons. some goes from 100m to very long distances. so you adjust it according to how your target is far away. hold breath with holding right click on your mouse. proning and crouching gives you more stable aim than standing. that's about everything you need to know about aiming.

sos is 85x on highest mag

I got a problem with the Sos: I try to use the 85x magnifiation, but I only get like max 15x.

I know you can press + to increase the magnification, but it only works once. Pressing ctrl + right mouse only switches to iron sight. So how you change to "real" long-range mode?

I think they replaced it with the MOS which has only a max magnification of 15x

So the LRPS has the highest magnification with 25x or is there a higher one?

The max magnification you can get with a LRPS is 75x, didn't try the newest scopes yet but I doubt they have a higher magnification than this one since they were designed for marskman rifles

Since the Marksman update all scopes have their actual zoom level (which is much lower than before marksman) shown.
