How do I get more ammo?
Just trying to play through the campaign and showcase Infantry mission but cannot figure out how to get more ammo... Can't get it off corpses? When I search it just brings up info about ammo crates. Well I don't see any tutorials or "boot camp" in this game showing me how to refill my ammo supply, so I am forced to come here. Unless I missed something? I don't even know with this game.

I'm right at the beginning of the campaign. Just finished driving the big truck and watching Kamino get bombed. I see a few crates on the vehicles beside me but they are empty.

Am I missing something here?

You'll be able to fill up your ammo in between missions. While on a mission, you'll get it off corpses. You're too early in the campaign to even care about more ammo.

I realized it was because I traded vests with the first corpse I saw, just for kicks. I didn't realize my inventory was tied to it.

So how do I get more first aid kits then? Or how do I heal in general? 2 hits and I'm done. I can't even get within striking distance without getting at least one hit. Yeah I understand practicing, but do I seriously have to go through 3-4 more encounters and only allow MAYBE 4 hits all-together?

You get medkits from corpses too, or by stealing them from your teammate once he doesn't move (by opening their backpack).
You can pick and use your medkit by mouse scrolling once you're hit.

I know the campaign is extremly frustrating at first, but you'll get used to it. You gotta realize Arma is not your standart shooter, but a simulation. You don't rush or run straight into enemies. You gotta move slow most of the time and move tactically.

The inventory system can seem a little confusing at first. When you go up to an enemy body, use the action menu to open inventory. This will show everything that's on the "ground". You need to double click on his clothes, vests, or backpack, and that will open and show you what is inside. This is usually where magazines, grenades, first aid kits, or anything else will be shown. Just right click on what you want at that point to add it to your inventory.

How does this game fail so hard at explaining very basic things like this? There is next to ZERO tutorial. HUGE fail on their part. That kind of ♥♥♥♥ should not pass QA. These devs should be embarassed.

Is there an inventory limit? Why can I only hold 2 first aid kits? I put other stuff on the body then try to take it back and it won't let me. I see a bar at the bottom of the inventory but it's nowhere near full. I have played rpgs and other games with inventories. What am I missing here?

There's context sensistive help, and the field manual option on the main menu has the full help facility. The inventory is a little wonky and took me a few minutes of playing with the interface to figure out at first. You have a max carry weight, represented by the bar you saw at the bottom of the screen, but you need "containers" to actually carry the stuff that counts towards that capacity. The three "containers" are your uniform, your vest/body armor/load bearing equipment, and your rucksack. Each of those containers has their capacity bar, which represents not max weight, but max storage space, so your uniform, for example, with at most a handful of cargo pockets, fills up very quickly, where as your rucksack, if you have one, can carry a LOT of stuff. If you don't have enough storage space for more equipment, you cannot carry more equipment even if you are not yet at max weight. To move stuff in the inventory, double click to open "containers", click and drag to move stuff around, and right click to immediately equip. Finally, the more weight you carry, the more easily your character becomes fatigued.
