Fun game modes

So I've had this game for a while but I have not played it much. Does anyone have any recommended game modes? I am looking and trying to have some epic moments. Plus are there any mods I look into?

Check out Breaking Point if you're into zombies/survival, best mod out imo.

well... there are alot of fun mods/gamemodes. my personal favorites are king of the hill, altis life and battle royal.

The popular asylum servers and king of the hill servers dont require mods. But the popular battle royal servers do require the mod to be downloaded.

asylum life is just like it sounds, a life mod, that has a lot of rules and alot of guidelines. its fun but not that fun if your looking for epic "moments"

king of the hill is basically 3 teams sent out to capture a town or city, and whoever has the most players in that objective zone controlls it. After so many points your team will win. I like this mode because you actually level up, gain money and exp to either buy or rent guns that are available to you. as well as vehicles. Also perks that give you certain bonuses such as more ammo or the ability to purcahse sniper rifles.

Battle royal is my personal favorite. once the server fills up it drop everyone out around the map out of a few airplanes. you parachute down with nothing. basically you must scavenge through buildings to try and find weapons, armor, scopes, ammo, etc. This is my preffered game mod as the servers that play it currently use a mod that adds much more weapons/ammo/scopes in to the game that are not in the vanilla version. such as AK47 and G36 and much more. The closes thing this mod is comparable too is the hunger games. And it is alot of fun.

LDTR if your looking for quick action play king of the hill and you'll see alot of it. if your looking for more of a laid back experience with lots to do play altis life. If your looking for that sheer survival experience of PVP play battle royal. good hunting and have fun!

overpoch and epoch are nice... so is breaking point... all are similar and performance is better than dayz right now.

Arma 3 E-FLOP sucks and never became the game we all wanted it to be, hopefully A3 EXILE will come and save the day.

Hey man... I would like to add "Wasteland" to the list, no mods required just filter for mission "Wasteland" in the multiplayer browser. (for maps other than Altis/Stratis you do need mods). In particular the wastelands servers hosted by ws.arma.su (filter on host: "arma.su") run very smooth.

I always have tonnes of fun in wasteland servers.. Lots of epic moments too.

You basicly spawn in with nothing but a pistol. You can find guns in cars that are scattered around near towns. Gear up and head for one of the automatically generated missions, that is where you find better gear, money or interesting vehicles. But you won't be alone... the missions often draw a lot of other players leaving you to fight over the spoils of war. If you have killed the players you can pick up there money. Money can be spent in gun stores and on some server vehicle stores and such. Additionally it allows for basebuilding, scavange the map for the building blocks. Or buy them in shops (in certain servers). You can join Blufor and Opfor if you want cooperate, or you can join Independent, Indies can shoot anybody without penalty. Indies can also create there own small group.

If you want to get a feel of the Wasteland vibe, I will add some of my EPIC moments I recorded on Wasteland.

If you want to play proper ARMA missions check out EUTW, BECTI, tacbf and some coop servers.

If you want to play ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game modes with annoyings kids check out altis life, wasteland, KOTH, epoch and the other 100 retarded survival game modes that copy each other.

EUTW is also a very nice suggestion. Especially when looking for teamplay... cooperation really makes or breaks your teams results in this one

Forget public servers, wasteland, breaking point, Altis life and all that ♥♥♥♥. ArmA is meant to be played cooperatively, so find yourself a good, serious clan with its own modpacks and missionmakers. That way you'll enjoy far more epic moments, teamplay and fun than anywhere else.

I am agree but dev need to made an AI not just cheaters bots who the fire at your foot 1 srt time and headshot you just after even at 1 miles in a jet at max speed !!!!!!! with a 5.56 mm cal.
