Best sniper rifle, and what sight?

I reinstalled Arma 3 a few days ago and I'm just wondering what the best sniper rifle is, and the best sight to go with it.

Bigger the round heavier the hit. The Mar 10 is pretty good and my favorite scope has always been and for a scope you cant go wrong with LRPS

Honestly it depends on what you're doing. For longer range sniping use the M320 .408 with a SOS or a LRPS, and for closer range use the Cyrus with a SOS or an ARCO sight. Its all up to you and the situation you're in though.

Depends on what situation and location you're in. I'm not very experienced in the long range/sniper business. I'm more of a mid to close range specialist. But in my opinion, test your way and find the right weapon and the right sight, having the right equipment can and will make an efficient marksman :)

the first two comments got it . that .50 is a bit ridiculous unless ur going crazy range or taking out light Apc or targets alike

M320 LRR with the two highest scopes long range precision and the other one

I always use the mk-1 emr 7.62 and carry 2 scopes an arco and kaliha. Its a good compromise between a long and shorter range gun. I just swap scopes according to what im doing. Good for anything up to 800ish. Im mainly an exile player though so take that into consideration as well.

Cyrus + Kaliha + MRCO

LRPS is technically better for sniping because it zooms more but i just like the Kaliha. MCRO is always kept in my vest for night time because it works with nvg :)

Cyrus is the noob gun of choice to the point that it's a long running meme in the Arma community, it also has a lot of bullet drop.
