hey generally i mean everytime i get into a server im just confused i would like someone to guide me through it. preferably on skype or something or steam voice chat cause i need communication to help me. it just seems so confusing.

Im not available to guide you, but generally (depending on the mission type you are joining) there should be a briefing (text) which will explain what your "mission" is.

As there are so many mission types it's tough to explain what to do.

Have you played all the showcases etc?

Look at your SP content.

Try all the missions there to familiarise yourself with all aspects of the game as it might assist you in your MP play.

The modes are what they are called (Deathmatch is deathmatch, capture is capture, ...)
RPG is popular in ArmA. Look for "Altis Life" (<-- !!! example !!!) in the filter.
I don't know what a normal match should be. I think you mean a COOP mission (you and the others against AI). You will need mods for that because there are no good COOP servers without. There are missions, but nearly "no" server.

Try finding a server running Zeus. Those generally have quick straight forward missions with people who don't take things too seriously
