Aiming Deadzone + Headtracking
Just as a tip to those who've got the stuff but haven't given it a shot yet, combining the aiming deadzone feature (makes you aim independently of moving the entire camera) and headtracking makes the infantry experience quite incredible. Head, body and weapon movement all being independent from one another. Only enabled it to get around the middle bezel of a 3x2 monitor setup, and don't think Ill ever go back now.

Flashpoint players would already know about the aiming deadzone, but I reckon lots of people haven't given it a try yet.

If you don't mind my asking what are you using for head tracking? I would like to try it.
Cheers.

I'm a flashpoint player and loved the deadzone...
For some reason I switched it off when I bought TrackIr but you've made me want to switch it back on again now and give it a go with head tracking :-)

EDIT:
Just had a test and it is much better for targeting grouped enemies without having to rotate the entire character. so CHEERS for the heads up :-)

Although I have noticed a bug if you turn the slider up too far.
I have reported it on the feedback tracker...

I'm using Opentrack with an Xbox Live Vision camera (with an added piece of a floppy disk for an IR filter) and a Naturalpoint Pro clip. It's a good choice if you want to try it out with a minimum of technical know-how (I gave up on building my own clip since I didn't want a battery pack/fiddling with USB power).

Glad to hear it, I've found it great for retreating (e.g. suppressing fire in one direction while watching a flank) and for handling recoil. I did notice that bug as well, encountered it at anything above 30% on the slider, which is unfortunate since I prefer to use ADS when clearing houses.
