how to enable hyperthreading
i swear i read somewhere the profiling build lets you enable hyperthreading, but i havent found out how. can anyone assist? tired of running koth at bogus fps when my pc can handle it.

Doesn't the launcher have a enable hyper-threading option if you go into all parameters?

i just found it, apparently i have it enabled. game still runs like garbage tho. i wonder if its just bad optimization + playing koth. itll be impossible to get over 90 fps maybe idk.

on a 6800xt, 5800x 64 gb ram, should be enough to run this decent considering i can run tarkov at 100 fps.

Some of the game processes run only on 1 core and KOTH is notoriously bad mission for chugging out objects and scripts that reach the engine handicap very fast. You can check this out yourself by monitoring your CPU stats while playing. "Normal" performance on heavy Arma 3 missions is 24 to 52 fps.

There will however finally after 13 years be multi-core improvements with the upcoming 2.20 patch that should improve the performance somewhat.

maybe thats what i read patch 2.20. ill have to look it up to see when they are going to drop it. is it in experimental build by any chance?

You can test it on experimental, I think, but I don't know what the current situation is with it. I know that some of the 2.20 performance improvements are disabled from testing at the moment because of stability issues. I'd personally wait for it to hit stable.

dedmen helped me out. so the overall issue, is the patch is in the profile branch. but the old outdated videos of setting your cpu count and enabling ht, makes it worse. as soon as i set the launcher back to default, the game auto configured what my core count is, and now im getting steady 60 to 70 fps in koth with hyper threading turned OFF.

basically these video tutorials on enabling it is counter productive with this new patch.
