From there you can decide if you like the "at war" vibe or the "sandbox/survival and coop" appeal that is very strong in these 2 games, if you can find a friendly non-toxic playerbase to become a part of or at the least co-exist within.
starts infantry based and then slowly progresses into full war, Infantry, Land vehicles, Air vehicles, its PVP but quite fun for a vanilla game mode and quite beginner friendly.
if you want pve: invade & annex (77th jsoc is what I started with, beginner friendly)
