I'm getting really low fps 17 FPS Online

Allright i did some research tried optimizing the game tried everything from unparking cores to changing settings. Still getting too low fps. I don't get it anymore. My system specs are.. AMD 8320 FX Nvidia GTX 960 OC''edition 16 gigs of ram. No i dont have SSD and not planning of getting one either( Could use a better processor instead). I know AMD sucks for this game but the thing is i was getting much more performance earlier on. Im talking about 20-30 FPS.. Now im getting really low lik 10-20 FPS.. I dont know what i can try anymore guys. I hope DX 12 is going to improve performance cause this is no fun anymore. Devs also need to consider making this game use cores properly. I checked the system requirements those are not true or else i would easy get 30 frames a second even online.. I do like arma 3 it's a good game when you get good fps but 10-20 fps in cities that's just not normal. Also they keep editing patches for the game that's a good thing but optimizing isn't their plan?? I tried replacing my Arma3.exe file with one of the devs optimal build but that gives me an error.. I think it's because of the patch today. I tried OC'ing my processor but i have little experience with that so i resetted the settings back to normal.. I tried lowering distance view tried the same with objects no improvement nothing really works.. But singleplayer is a different story it gives me 40-50 FPS. But MP should be doing the same thing.. Can you guys give me any advice what i could try?

DX12 probably won't even happen in Arma 3 as Nvidia has been crapping there pants about DX12 and paying game makers not to use DX12 as it puts them at a big disadvantage. and this game is no different!

Ohhh damn it i heard they will add it with tanoa dlc. But they gotta do something about this im not mad or something just want to play this game in it's full glory.. I hear people talk about 40-50 fps online or 30 fps and im just playing with much less.. See i play allot of Sector control when i start i get decent fps talking about 30 fps but than the real ♥♥♥♥ part is when i get into a town which is the objective i get really low even so low that's it's just not playable anymore.. My ping is really low on those servers tho.. While ago i played without trouble. But now it's kinda really low.

Don't know what mods you're playing,but try different servers,some servers got all kind of custom stuff running,ruining the performance.
If you're in to Wasteland,try the Sa-matra servers.

Im playing King of The hill really much.. Tried different servers not really helps that much.. Im really doing my best to get the game to work properly but nothing really helps while others dont have issues sure they get like me low fps but no that low right..

I use clean version i do have mods but don't use them at the moment.

Most likely a driver or setting thats messed things up for ya! i get great fps with a 8350 and a 270x. you should be able to get better performace then you are, it just can be a pain to find the root of the problem sometimes, happens lots of people regardless of hardware you only got to look on the forums AMD, Intel and Nvidia

I have latest Nvidia drivers installed. I only messed with settings that should improve performance. Like in Nvidia configuration set some things different and Max frames ahead and stuff like that. But i didn't do anything else that would affect preformance in a negative way.

Well in might be worth trying to disable them things just to see if they conflict with any recent Arma updates.

all depends on the server/mod!! anything from 35-60, i have vsync on so on some servers i could get more than 60 but no point.

Fps ain't soley reliant on the server, that only plays apart of overall fps!!

well it didn't really help returning the setttings back to normal... On spawn i get like 30-40 FPS and in the town all blown up 17 FPS :(

Before the patch FPS was around 45 - 50
Same MP mission after the patch FPS is now a v-sync solid 60
