We are a professional community designed to give new players a forgiving place to learn and minimize unnecessary BS for veteran players. TFT provides immersive, realistic, and engaging narrative-based operations spanning limitless variety. You will never get bogged down in reoccurring gameplay tempos here, each operation requires a different playstyle in order to succeed. Our training program is straightforward and detailed, everything we teach is necessary for battlefield success in-game. If you don't work together as a team, the enemy will exploit your weaknesses to great effect. Our rank and role structure is based on merit and personal performance, you are not expected to address anyone by rank. We expend our efforts into gameplay rather than meaningless virtual hierarchy. We are a powerful underdog producing expertly made content, quality and community being our primary focus. We are looking for attentive individuals who are seeking a realistic and gritty experience. We will be depicting extremely harsh themes in which you would be involved in, this is not for the faint of heart. Our goal is to horrify war, not glorify it. Here, you are a warfighter in humanity's newest age of armed conflict. Each mission ties into the next escalating global tensions as war erupts in every clime and place. Each faction you play and face is custom-made, forcing players to adapt to the enemy’s tactics or die. You will have an unforgettable Arma 3 experience in Task Force Trauma and make excellent friendships that will last. We got your six, do you have ours?

I am currently leading a recently established unit and I am actively seeking individuals who are interested in joining and participating. Even if it is just one person who is actively engaged, I would be extremely delighted and satisfied with their involvement. https://discord.gg/7FuUgSz82t

When it comes to our attendance requirement, we recognise that real life comes first. You are able to be excused for events you are not able to attend, however our requirement is 60% of the mandatory events, and this figure is usually calculated every two months except for during your first. We host three types of mandatory events each month:
Saturday 1500 EST (Load into the server at 1430 EST) Squad Drills (2.5h). These are training sessions (ALL training includes large amounts of live fire combat) the squad leader hosts in order to prepare the squad for the upcoming mission(s), or to fix some tactical issue that the squad needs to train on. These are managed and Zeused by the SLs.
Sunday at 1500 EST (load in 1430 EST) Mission (2.5h). These are the main combat missions we host, with all elements of the unit on the field, Zeused by Company leadership (4 dedicated Zeuses). These are part of Operations (campaigns) that run for around 8 months.
Sunday at 1300 EST (Load in 1230 EST) on the first Sunday of every month, Award ceremony (30-50 min). This is a ceremony in which soldiers are promoted, given awards. This is also where big announcements are made.

We are currently operating one platoon of Stryker infantry, with four squads and a platoon HQ, a reconnaissance platoon with two squads and an attached aviation brigade. Our Company HQ is made up of Zeuses, and senior NCOs whose job it is to coach and train NCOs and to ensure members of the unit have competent leaders. There is limited availability to directly enlist in the reconnaissance platoon (MOS: 19D) or aviation brigade (MOS: 15T), but the infantry (MOS: 11B) is always available.
A standard squad is made up of two fireteams, which have the following roles available:
AR - Automatic rifleman 2IC of the team and is allowed to use a M249 SAW
CLS - Combat Life Saver Soldier trained in additional medical procedures with more equipment
AT - Anti tak rifleman Soldier who carries either a MAAWS or FGM-148.
There are more roles available, but these are the primary entry-level roles depending on availability.

We operate something called “realism”, which is basically as close to the military as we can get while maintaining interest for all people, and keeping the experience immersive. In combat we use real procedures, and act as a company of infantry with support assets that work together to achieve the objectives.
Outside of combat, we follow many customs and traditions, as well as structural compositions that the real army uses, as well as the management structure of an organisation. We use real ranks, awards, unit structures, procedures and more. Communication between members is often however informal, and fun ops and other non-unit events are often conducted.
Feel free to ask more regarding this or any other topic topic.

We organize ourselves as a US Army BCT (Brigade Combat Team) with supporting armored, fixed-wing aviation, and rotary aviation elements. The primary focus for all of us is learning from each other and having fun. We do expect good behavior and respect between members during operations, but when hanging out we enjoy joking around and discussing topics.
Occasionally, the unit hosts community events based around different themes. For example, we’ve done Halo, Warhammer 40k, and even 1500’s Ships of the Line! Let us know if you have any suggestions and they can be included on our community day votes. We enjoy having variety in our operations.
New recruits are not forced into any roles and we'll work with you to find what you are interested in doing! Our training days are on Fridays at 1900 EST (0000 ZULU Saturday), and operations are on Saturdays at 1900 EST (0000 ZULU Sunday).
ADD PERSONAL TOUCH
I sent a friend request on Steam and please let me know if you have any questions. I’m more than happy to answer them. Thanks!
Task Force Gold's goal is two fold. To create a long lasting community within and outside of Arma, and to provide an unprecedented realism/milsim experience in the SOF milsim community. Our unit consists of a 10th SFG ODA Teams, 1st Marine Raider Battalion, MSOT Team, and 160th SOAR. We have experience with Arma 2 and Arma 3 milsim leadership, organization, and mission creation. We strive ourselves on our strong sense of community, where our members are just that MEMBERS. You won't be treated as a number, or a slot on the roster, you'll be a valued member of a community where you can create lasting friendships with like minded players.
We also have a high level of dedication to realism, immersion, and professionalism throughout the unit. Starting with your initial training, and continuing with operations, training events, and everything in between, you will find our attention to detail is outstanding.
We hope to welcome you to our community of dedicated operators and pilots, where you can find a unit that will last, and give you a sense of belonging. We hope to be the last unit you ever have to join. If you're interested please continue reading for further details.
Operations
We hold weekly operations every Friday and Sunday at 8pm EST.
Fridays: Fridays are squad level training days. Fridays will also include mission briefings, mission walk-through and rehearsals to ensure everyone is ready to go come operation day. Once a month the unit also holds a unit wide FTX for unit wide training events.
Sundays: Sundays are operation days. These include one off operations, or when deployed, heavy story-line driven operations that connect to each other to play out a campaign story-line.
Unit members may also use the server to conduct "Tac Ops" when the server is not being used for trainings or other events.
Additionally we host a 24/7 liberation server.
Available Roles
The following roles are available Upon Entry:
18X U.S. Army Special Forces Candidate
0372 USMC Critical Skills Operator
153X U.S. Army Special Aviator
Training Pipeline
Our training pipeline will not be for everybody. We hold our members to high standards of professionalism and dedication, and our training pipeline is meant to ensure our members not only meet those standards, but have the dedication required to last for a long time in the unit to have a highly successful career.
ODA/MARSOC Pipeline: Recruits will take Special Operator Training Course (SOTC). SOTC training is a three session, 2-3 hour per session training. It is designed to train new and experienced players on unit SOPs, tactics, and expectations. Training is typically done in group setting. After SOTC candidates will take Q-Course (ODA) which is MOS dependent on length, but on average is a 1-2 session training taking 2 hours, or Operation Derna Bridge (MARSOC) which is a 2 hour FTX.
Aviation Pipeline: Aviation recruits will undergo Flight Qualification. Flight Qualification is not an instruction course, pilots seeking membership are expected to know basic flight mechanics, lingo, and maneuvers. Familiarization with Hatchet Framework is also a plus. Upon completion of Flight Qualification pilot recruits will expand on their training over the course of the next 30 days with different maneuvers, trainings, and airframe qualifications. No mandatory ground period is required for pilots. We are 1st person only.
