SP Campaign Camp Ammo/Weapon/etc. Crates make no sense
This is driving me nuts.

I'm at Gori camp, near the end of Adapt episode.

After returning from scouting missions, the supply crates just go CRAZY with their contents:

The ammo crate will auto-fill itself upwards of over 100 6.5 Katiba mags and around 15-30 6.5 NATO mags, upwards of almost 70 40mm HE tube launched grenades, and near 50 of various smoke grenades both tube launched and handheld

The weapons crate will auto-fill with like a dozen or more Katiba's plus a few of the carbine version, and close to 30 TRGs

The wearable equipment crate is truly bonkers - there's an insane amount of basic level protection load bearing equipment, including multiple copies of Stavrou's

I've found a lot of stuff out in the wild that I've stashed over time, but they sometimes disappear. I've started to empty the crates of all the "garbage" until there's room for me to manually stash things myself (by moving the "garbage" items to the ground, since I don't see a way to permanently delete something) before and after returning to make room for things I don't want to lose track of, but upon returning to camp they ALWAYS fill themselves up beyond capacity with the same things!

The weapons crate itself is most annoying/weird/ problematic. It not only constantly refills with a silly amount of Katibas and TRGs, but it will also duplicate certain guns (sadly, guns I'd rather it dupe it won't...). For example, I've only brought 1 Zubr revolver back to camp to store, and just now there's 3! I also only brought 1 of the CSAT 7.62 mgs (Zufir?) back to stash and dropped 1 on the ground from the crate, it will sometimes have 2 of them. It also always restocks with numerous Rook 9mms and the blufor .45 ACP pistol, even after emptying it of them.

It gets to where I think it starts to delete things when it does that. Some things never delete, but some do (for example I know I had a PCML launcher, and that's gone now, but the Titan is still in there though I'd rather have the PCML).

What is up with these crates? It's gotten to where I'm afraid to stash things now. And the weapons that get placed out on the tables have no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it's what the game puts there, sometimes something I stashed is there among them, sometimes not.

I've checked the loadouts on the guerrilla boys you go out with on the pickup, and they always have the same stuff every time so it's not them (one has a Mk18 ABR which might be 1 of 2 I brought back, 1 has a 6.5 MG, and one has 5.56 NATO rifle of some kind and an Alamut, which incidentally is right now appearing in the weapons crate...).

Is there any way to control this or any reasoning to this? The autofilling of 6.5 rounds and Katibas would be nice IF THEY WEREN'T THE STANDARD EQUIPMENT OF EVERY ENEMY. But I'd prefer to stash my "uncommon" weapons and rounds (like my Rahman, my MK 18, the rounds to go with them, and both my Lynx .50 sniper and the NATO sniper which thankfully have stayed safe in the crate, as has their limited ammo... so far). It also detracts a bit from the, uhh, "realism" (which is already limited enough) when the game makes sure your guerrilla band always has more 6.5 rounds and 6.5 weapons than they could ever possibly need, and then tosses in two full squads' worth of NATO 5.56 weapons on top of that. You don't need to scavenge, and then if you scavenge anyway for stuff that isn't common, you risk having it disappear, or it will disappear for a time and then randomly show up again on the table, or in an AI's inventory without you having put it there.

Also, prior to each story mission where you're reviewing the map and can look at your squad's inventory, I don't always have the full amount of things I stashed available to put on them despite them definitely being stashed.

WTF help this is infuriating. Is there any vanilla unmodded way to get a handle on this?

And just tacking on an extra question:

On one of the scouting missions I killed a CSAT specops who had 2 full magazines for the Cyrus on him (which have stayed safe in stash thank God) but was not actually carrying the Cyrus, nor were his buddies. Only marksmen rifles I've found so far are 2 Rahmins and the occasional MK18. I like both but I really want to find the Cyrus but everything I've read says nothing about anyone in East Wind having one or finding one.

Yes, I did the Illegal Weapons scouting; that's where I got a MK18 from.

I have the same problem , really annoying. It makes scouting pretty much useless indeed.

At some point I gave up caring. Seems this is just the way it is, since no one ever responded anyway in over 6 months.
