Verify that it isn't an issue with Arma 3 by checking the logs/crash-dumps at

Open up Control panel >hardware and sound > power options. Here you will see the power plan for your computer. Make sure the High Performance setting is checked first. That will allow your computer to run at the maximun settings. Then look to the right of the High performance line and you will see the option to open Change Plan Settings> change advance power settings. Open it and lets make sure your computer is working at the max. The second option is Hard Disk -Turn off hard disk after - change to NEVER. Now go to SLEEP - change four setting to NEVER - OFF - NEVER - DISABLE. Net is USB setting change it to DISABLE. Next PCI Express set to OFF. Next is Processor Power management. Change settings to MAX and Minimum CPU to 100% system cooling to active. Click ok and close eveything. Last is to check your network adapter and make sure its not being put to sleep by windows ( yeah it will do that ) Open Control panel >Network and Internet > Network and sharing center. Look on the left side and click on change adapter settings. It will open a window with alll your network adapters on your computer, Both Wi-Fi and Ethernet ones. Look for the one that you are using and right click on it, and then click on properties. Next click on Configure, and then the Power Management Tab. Uncheck the Box that says " Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power."
Could also be PSU, but if it's a laptop this probably isn't the case.
