Eden editor "flying" state nowhere to be found?
In the 2d editor you could set a unit to "flying" such as a helicopter and it would be running it's engine at whatever height you put it at. In the 3d editor I can't seem to make a helicopter have it's engine running, and placing it in the air just makes it plummet to the ground while the pilot attempts to start the engine.

You have to place it higher.

How high? Because I put it over 200m in the air and it still didin't work.

Is the helo empty? The only thing I could imagine that would cause this.

I just got one helicopter to work, it seems setting the altitude via attributes or using the translation widget doesn't wok for this. You have to use alt+hold mouse to move it up or down.

Yeah it wasn't very clear. I had placed the helicopterr high up, just not with that specific movement function, for whatever reason only that one allows it to fly. I guess cause the other is static placement of objectis and the alt movement is specifically tied to the vehicle's flying status being turned on.
