I own Contact and it runs perfectly fine behind the scenes when I play modded Arma with the other DLC's enabled as well.
Same for Contact, I unload my mods too.
An "enable all required only" button would be even better.
A3Launcher finds and installs mods but its a little confusing to use.
Enabling all optional DLCs except Contact and Prairie Fire does seem to work fine, however.
I'd love to be able to launch the game with everything loaded so I can swap between the East Wind campaign and editing scenarios for fun with all DLC maps/assets loaded. Contact assets are loaded regardless of if the optional DLC is activated. I don't really understand why this doesn't appear to be possible for Prairie Fire, and I cannot for the life of me find any resources online using Google.
(I'd probably need to dig deep into the official Arma 3 forums or something to find more info, but screw that -- it shouldn't be this difficult to figure out how to properly use paid DLC content.)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2642544745 should work for restoring said content.
The reason for it, according to a comment is this:
"Without mods it's not possible to use any of the SOGPF assets in vanilla campaigns anyway. Missions were hidden according to publisher (BI) guidance."
