Or maybe you just answered without any thought, since you also called the best kind of gaming stupid. I guess it is easier to hate what you cannot afford to buy.
I too think it would be only solo/coop scenarios that would be able to run, but still it would be great for that imo.
Many games have been converted to VR with great succes (Half Life 2 etc) and hopefully it will come with the arma4 if it never makes it on arma3.
Bruuh I tend to agree, it won't be very many if any working on VR compatible mods but to have a VR Arma would be awesome and would pull me right back into the VR headset ♥♥♥♥.
Which video?
That being said yeah, Arma 3 frames probably wouldn't be manageable for all.
(You can just play VR with mouse/keyboard or controller on any game)
On Arma 3 &/or reforger ???
Arma3 has sat redundant on pc since getting a VR headset
( 300hrs prior )
I’ve recently tried it with VorpX & after tinkering it works fine & is well suited to VR , but there is no hand tracking support -to hold weapons / throw grenades etc , pointer me u system/virtual tablet would be great for all the commands aider than keyboard
90fps no problem 10900k 3080 quest2
Good point , understandable too as I suddenly became a non Arma user when I first tried VR & purchased my 1st headset so no VR users that use Arma makes sense, VR compatibility would open up a whole new user base
Static 2d separate screens make the experience truly naff when comparing
A VR update for compatibility even if not a full overhaul for VR (as other devs have done for certain titles ) would be wise
Arma3 is very well suited to VR
Vr compatibility in arma4 is a no brainer
