Task Force Radio requires you to open up the Mod and place 2 files from the teamspeak folder, into your plugins folder in the Teamspeak directory (Teamspeak3/plugins)
When you have this done you'll have to acitvate it and then ingame tune the radio to a frequency you want everyone on.
For example: Ctrl+P (default for opening the Radio) change to the number to something like 30.1 then click on the Radio Set frequency once everyone is on that simple just hold in Caps, and say something.
You will all need the same type of Radio and a Radio Programer.
The Radio is normally Model number 152 and the Programer can be found where your Watch is, in your equipment or Virtual Arsneal.
There isnt really any other kind of Radio Mod which im aware of on Steam Workshop i remember looking myself a while back and it is down to a copyright issue and respect for the Modders hard work.
Once you do get Task Force Working though it is an excellent tool! and will change your ARMA experience completely.
Also handy if you wanna slag off the guys in the over vehicle, because everything becomes proximity chat which is awesome.
If you need a hand with anything let me know.

As to TFAR itself, it is working on the latest Stable (1.62) and on the current Development build (1.63.xx). It does require TeamSpeak 3 to work, but so does ACRE.
Unfortunately there are no MODs for doing anything similar with the VON included within the ArmA (RV4) engine and I don't think you can actually access this system to MOD in the manner required to achieve this.
As to why TFAR/ACRE aren't available on Steam, you'd have to ask the developers.
Wingmanp40q and I had it working before the apex upgrade and love it the only problem is that I am not real good at downloading or extracting the down loads from armaholic and placing everything in the right folders for my husband and I. We dont know many people on here. We love gaming since we are retired and we played ofp online with recon group for 15yrs. this is different and we only do what we can get someone to help us with. I'll try to see if I can get this accomplished. thanks for the input its muched appreciated. winggirl
