Okay turns out to be easier than I remembered. All you need to do is:
- Place down a Support Requestor module from Systems > Modules > Supports > Support Requestor
- Place down a Support Provider: Helicopter Transport
- Select either module and sync them to each other
- Place down your transport helicopters
- Sync each individual helo to the Support Provider module
- Place down your player/playable units
- Sync any units that are allowed to request transport to the Support Requestor module
Hit the Play Scenario button and test out your work. To call a transport, look at where you want the LZ to be and hit '0', '8', '1' keys in order and then select the particular transport helo you require. You will get a radio confirmation of the dispatch order.Once in the helo, bring up your map and select the transport destination with a single r-click.
Once landed the helo will RTB when you exit.
Repeat the requests as and when needed.
You can setup a deny flight message if they have not completed the mission.
Ah thanks. I really can't remember how I fixed this (if I even got it working at all), but still thanks, now I know how to do it properly in case I need to do this again
