Arma 3 0x0000DEAD -

when ever i try to launch it it comes up with this exit code please help?

Are you using any mods or launchers? Any specific startup parameters? What are your system specs?

iv got no parameters on and im using a bit of mods and i dont remember my specs

Try checking your came cache, then if that doesnt work reinstall the game (I've had the same problem)

Hey everyone, I need a help! I can’t enter in a game, mods don’t loading and show up error message: userconfig\TPW_MODS\TPW_MODS.hpp not found , then next message: The exception unknown software exception (0x000dead) occurred in the application 0x0000000076EFDAEA8 and after that last one: code 0x000 DEAD. Who knows how to solve this problem? let me know. Thanks a lot

put inside all mods again (every what u have before crash). try start game again. if works - try UNINSTAL mods like u should do this (not just ctrl+a - shift+del ) . unistal one by one via launcher. sry my eng - i hope you understand and it will help you .

Solve this problem.



Go to this folder:

C:\Users\User_name\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles



In this folder, go to your arma3 profile folder, and find file:

*name*.vars.Arma3Profile



Make a copy, then delete it from this folder.



Start game, and Enjoy!

I had this error after I had opened some of the game pbo's while in Eden editor and previewing mission I was making - (pbos in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Addons and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Expansion\Addons).

It's possible some flag on the pbo was modifed when closing it - or maybe pbo ownership gets locked or changed - although I definteitely didn't save changes to the original or even save the original pbo. I am using PBO manager 1.4 beta - perhaps the pbo got flagged by the game when starting up not sure. Anyway the only 'solution' I have found so far after three of these issues is to uninstall then reinstall Arma3 from scratch. I know the Steam local file integrity check did not detect any file corruption prior to reinstall. Not sure this is any help but maybe getting closer to finding the cause. Good luck.
