Also use R not T for locking.
So I pushed the wrong button then (targeting). Will my gunner fire on targets that I lock with R or do I fire the Skyfire rockets once locked? AI does shoot by himself with the cannon.
Further ahead in that mission (artillery targets) I think the enemy uses some kind of disruption equipment because my targeting panel disappears and the rockets turn away from the target as if there was a reversed magnetic field around the target. the only way to hit it is to get in really close and fire. I have no clue how to track down the equipment that causes this.
How does the panel come back? By flying out of the area or is it a bug?
