Alternative to TeamSpeak...

Just wondering if anyone is using 'Discord' for ingame chat, and how it compares to Skype & TeamSpeak?

Been using it for a while now and I really like it. For us it was a toss up between Mumble and Discord, and since Discord is free we just stuck with it. TeamSpeak as a whole just didn't match up with Mumble for us so we ended up ditching it (although I do miss it for the TFAR mod).

Well everything has its pros and cons I love discord just of the fact how easy it is to create a new room but I stick to ts because it feels better dunko maybe just me :D

I don't see any differences between the two regarding the quality of voice chat. But I like much better the UI of Discord, as well how it separates the channels with Text chat and Voice channels in a group.

i love discord, but i will only ever use the web app. The desktop application needs to have a "Close on X" instead of it always minimizing to the task bar tray. The only way to close it is to close it in the task bar tray by right clicking then quit discord, which i find very annoying.
all in all. i would take discord over teamspeak or skype any day of the year. The voice quality is amazing, good group text chat. free server creations, good control over users and you can force peopel to link their games with discord and allow that as a sort of authentication so you can only allow people that you have added in games to join the server and they are who they say they are. not to mention it has all the nifty features of teamspeak like controling users volume individually, muting and giving talk power/assigning groups. It is basically teamspeak with a much sleeker design and much more in terms of features.
