Is A3Launcher safe and why does arma 3 take up so much space

So I have been looking to mod arma 3 and I recently installed A3Launcher, but im wondering if its safe as far as breaking arma and viruses, malware, etc.

Also steam and everyone else says the game is only about 10gb, But my arma folder is at 48gb, anyone know wtf is up with this?

A3Launcher is as safe as anything else running on your PC. I'm not aware of it being used for anything except syncing MODs on the server and clients though.

Current size of ArmA 3 Stable branch is ~15.6 GB. Not sure why yours would be so high unless you've loaded up a ton of MODs. Check the folder for folders starting with the @ character. If there are some there, these are MODs and will be adding to the size.

Try running Steam's 'Verify local files...' option.

Well mine is the small size of 145 GB.

Thank you, I can now use A3Launcher without worrying so much. Also I have sevel @ files so that would explain it.

atleast you have enough space to store it, My new hard drive hasnt arrived yet
