Problems with the Alive module and Adding other custom armies.
Hi, i have come nback to Arma 3 after some time and i used to play a lot with RHS escalation and the ALIVE mod. For some reason now when i try to create missions with them it does not recognize the armies names, i get from the wiki. Now i have even tried with other custom armies and all that keeps getting spawnwed in is the games normal vanila armies. I read that since RHS escalation changed to 2 seperate mods it casued some problems but that doesn't explain why it doesn't work with other armies.

instead use the 2d editor , i had some problems with using the 3d editor with mcc sandbox module , good luck soldier :)

Thank you reply, i have been using 2D editor, not got used to the 3d editor as of yet. i am using the names on the ALIVE wiki and the supported factions.

if you have debug mode on, what modules are you needing RHS on, if its say Civ placement, mil placement or CQB, they each have places to put th efaction name. Check it works on standard CSAT and NATO first, then change faction, it will rule out other issues.

I have tried them on all 3 but in the main AI Commander module it has a box that says overiding faction, i out them in there. All i get is an error at start up and the normal arma 3 armies spawn instead of the US or russian armies.

Well I'm actually also working with Alive and for me it works on 2d and 3d editor.
Make sure that you put the faction into the ai vommander module and set all other things there to "none".

And of course also set the faction of the placement modules to the same faction as in the commander.

i use mcc sandbox , am curious as to why i should just onto alive ?
wat are the advantages ?

Alive is awsome, it's like a complete dynamic battlefeild and can be used in conjunction with MCC.
