Extract the mod Pbo's into a seperate Addons folder, then create a folder that starts with a @ and name it how you'd like, my recommendation would be to have it named after the mod so finding it will be easy.
After that you should be able to open the launcher and press the "Add Local Mod" (Or similar, can't really recall) and select the @ folder from there and voila, you've done it.
This is what the mod folder path should look like:
C:/ ---> Program Files (x86) ---> Steam ---> SteamApps ---> Common ---> Arma 3 ---> @Mod ---> Addons ---> (Pbo's here)
What you have done is mixed modded game content (Pbo's), with vanilla content in the Arma 3 addons folder. Not sure if this even works anymore but that's not good especially if the mod gets outdated.
I hope this helps, i can try to clear it up or help further if necessary.
Good to hear that.
Well, if you'll need anything else add me and feel free to ask if i could possibly help out.
Other fixes do exist but wont help in most cases and might require unnecessary complicated ways to deal with it.
Tryverifying your game files if you feel lucky.
