Med kit

My mouse is not working when I hit the middle scroll button on the mouse. I can not bring up the med kit so i am not sure what i am doing wrong.

The Med Kit (black item that takes up a lot of backpack space), or the First Aid Kits (yellow items that can be put in your uniform)?

Also, are you clicking the middle mouse button, or scrolling? One does one thing, and the other does another.

Med Kits can't be used without First Aid Kits, and are generally used together on teammates to fully heal them, while the FAK's are used on yourself.

Sorry its the yellow first aid kit that i am stuck on the 3rd mission in the game where you have to patch up a soldier. I am doing what it says with the mouse where the wheel is to hold it down well when i do that nothing is happening.

You scroll down to the option to use your FAK on the soldier (the icon looks limilar to a large asterick * * * I put a few here, as an example), then use the action button (default Spacebar, IIRC?)

Thats the thing my scoll is not working in the middle button you push down its not bringing up anything.

You don't push/press the middle mouse button, you scroll. There's a difference.

Unless you're playing on a laptop, then you better change your controls so you have access to the action menu.

I have done that to and nothing comes up.

Well, the default button to access the action menu is the spacebar, so use that and the arrow keys to select the option, I guess. Check the integrity of your game files, reinstall if you have to. I don't have any other suggestions after that.

Ok thank you so much i am not sure if mods are affecting the game or not as I have quite a few of them.

u cant use a medkit if u are not a medic, sadly
